Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were inseparable after they met for the first time. Ashley Hudson was 17 years old and hadn't been with a woman prior to that, so they decided to take their time. The two fell in love on first sight. Andrew asked God at New Year's Day, just prior to the start of 2016. Andrew requested God for one final blessing for the year to see Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley wanted to have an authentic folk-style wedding to represent her and Andrew. Their wedding day consisted of the many things they love. The wedding venue was the 40 acres back of the land Ashley was raised on. They walked from the path down to the field where the couple proposed in Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley were also at this location numerous times prior to when they started dating. Because the wedding was essentially DIY, personalization was an integral part. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating area and the arch for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley states, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I've always dreamed of if Anna's beautiful floral arrangements had not been put in place." The work is simply stunning.
